Caroline Adopted!
Little Caroline has been abandoned twice in her life and the second time she came to us. When she first came to us she was a timid and gentle girl. Luckily we found a wonderful foster Mom for her pretty quickly who showered her with love and helped her to feel secure again. During her time with us Caroline was a popular girl and had many enquiries. However during a vet appointment it was discovered that she had two lumps near her mammary glands. We were all very concerned about this and every person who had shown interest in adopting her very quickly lost interest. Her surgery was expensive and her amazing foster Mom set up a fundraising campaign to help cover the cost of the surgery. It was a huge success and so was the surgery as the results of the tests showed that the lumps were benign and she was in the clear! Well shortly after this her foster Mom who is also a Forte volunteer realised that they were meant to be together and decided to adopt her! We are all so happy about this and we believe that this was the best outcome for Caroline who is clearly very attached to her Mom. It was clearly meant to be. We love happy endings!
